What is the Taiga?

The Taiga is the worlds biggest biome.(New Hampshire Public Telivision, par 1)   The Taiga, by definition, is a forest located in the northern parts of the world. The Taiga consists of mosty evergreen trees, with some exceptions of deciduous trees. (Dictionary.com) Other names for the Taiga include the Boreal Forest and Northern Coniferous forest.  Taiga is a Russian word for marshy pine forest (Taiga Animal Printout)
